The accommodation comprises 2 very clean and well equipped en-suite bedrooms – 1 double room and 1 double/twin room. The rooms have lovely views across either the garden or surrounding fells.

Each room is thoughtfully furnished, with beautiful fabrics and finishing touches. The en-suite facilities are also stylish and newly installed.

Wordsworth Cottage is centrally heated throughout - and is therefore, warm and cosy. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities. For your peace and tranquillity there are no TVs in the rooms however, clock radios are provided. There is also characterful sitting room / snug available to guests. This contains a selection of books, maps and DVD's - there is a TV in this room.

There is a good choice of breakfast cereals and fruit juices, and the hearty English breakfast is cooked on a traditional Aga. with the original oak cupboard containing a selection of local books and information. There is also a TV.

There is reserved private parking for cars and secure storage for bicycles.

Both Patterdale and Glenridding are within a mile and offer a wide range of eateries to suit most tastes and pockets. Local facilities include mini-markets, outdoor shop, post office and gifts.
